Reporting Policy
Last updated: April 2026
AutoPaddle relies on its community to help maintain a safe, trustworthy marketplace. The reporting system allows users to flag listings or behaviour that may be fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of our policies.
1 What You Can Report
Reports can be submitted for any listing that you believe violates AutoPaddle's policies or poses a risk to other users.
- Suspicious listing: Content that appears fraudulent, too good to be true, or potentially a scam.
- Scam risk: Listings or seller behaviour that raises concerns about financial fraud.
- Wrong information: Inaccurate vehicle details, misrepresented condition, or incorrect specifications.
- Duplicate listing: The same vehicle listed multiple times, potentially to inflate visibility.
- Prohibited content: Listings that include external links, inappropriate content, or violate platform rules.
2 How to Submit a Report
Submitting a report is straightforward and can be done directly from any listing page.
- Sign in to your AutoPaddle account.
- Navigate to the listing you wish to report.
- Select a reason from the report dropdown in the listing's action panel.
- Optionally, provide additional context in the details field to assist our moderation team.
- Submit the report — our team will review it promptly.
3 What Happens After a Report
Once a report is received, our moderation team will review it against our policies.
- Reports are reviewed in order of severity — reports involving active fraud are prioritised.
- If a listing is found to be in violation, it will be suspended or permanently removed.
- The seller's account may be suspended, restricted, or banned depending on the severity and history of violations.
- A moderation log entry is created for all reviewed reports for accountability purposes.
4 Misuse of the Reporting System
The reporting system exists to protect users, not to be weaponised against competitors or individuals with no genuine cause for concern.
- Submitting false or malicious reports is a violation of our Terms of Use.
- Systematic misuse of the reporting feature — such as mass-reporting a specific seller without cause — may result in account action.
- AutoPaddle reserves the right to penalise accounts found to be abusing the reporting system.
We appreciate users who contribute to keeping AutoPaddle safe. For more on how to protect yourself, read our Safety Guidelines. For policy violations, see our Terms of Use.
